Delta Rye is a limited release harmonious blend of spicy Indiana-distilled straight rye whiskey with a slightly sweeter Canadian-distilled 10-year-old rye whiskey. This unique process of blending two distinct rye whiskeys results in a balanced profile that exhibits intense spice with hints of citrus and mint, while it finishes with some vanilla and bold oak.
The original Delta Rye placed Gold in the 2017 Best of the NW: Sip NW Spirits Competition for Best Whiskey.
This rebirth of the new Delta Rye is built from the same components, now with 10 years of aging in the barrels. This extended aging process allows the flavors to mature and develop, resulting in a richer and more complex whiskey. We discovered these barrels after buying back the Big Bottom intellectual property and stores of barrels in late 2023. We knew we had to bring back the beloved Delta Rye in all of its new-found glory as a testimony to the quality of our original product and a special nod to our most loyal fans.
Proofed at 111°, the full flavors of these two rye whiskeys marry together to create a perfect balance for the most discerning palate. While we recommend drinking the Delta Rye neat, it also does amazingly well in some seriously elevated cocktails.
